Paoli has a long tradition of Halloween festivities.
Many homes are available for trick-or-treating across town but there is one area that has traditionally been the center of this spooky evening’s festivities. The area bordered by Elm St., Oak St., First St. (State Route 37), and Water St. typically plays host to the bulk of the trick-or-treating activities with some individual homes having special activities. The area is roughly shaded in red in the map below. Parking can be found in the yellow areas. These are at Marea Radcliff Park, the lot beside Porky’s, the parking lot in front of Subway and Pizza Hut off First St. Also, if you’re coming in from the south, the school parking lots are normally open for parking.
This usually kicks off around 5PM and is pretty much done shortly after dark by 8PM. “Official” times will be announced below and on the Events calendar. Most years the police and fire departments block off the area for added safety but if they don’t it’s best to avoid the red-shaded area during trick-or-treating.
